Changing Data Source Configurations

You can change the configurations of a data source, including the access credentials and the directory path, in Activate. After you change the configurations for a data source, the software automatically performs a data collection job for the data source.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Activate.

   The Activate page appears.

2. Under Data Governance, click Sensitive data governance.

   The Sensitive data governance page appears.

3. In the in the project name row of the projects table, click the Actions button , and then click Details.

   The project name details page appears.

4. In the data source name row of the Data sources table, click the Actions button , and then click Edit.

   The Edit data source pane appears.

5. Make your changes to the configuration options, and then click Save.

   A data collection job starts to update the data source based on your changes.
