Setting Permissions on a Sensitive Data Governance Project

If you want other Activate users to be able to view or to edit information from a project that you created, you can update the permissions on the project.

Before You Begin

  • The users and user groups must be able to access Activate.

  • Only users who created the project have the ability to update the permissions or to delete the project.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Activate.

    The Activate page appears.

  2. Under Data Governance, click Sensitive data governance.

    The Sensitive data governance page appears.

  3. In the project row, click the Actions button , and then click Details.

    The project details page appears.

  4. In the Security tile, click Edit.

    The Security pane appears.

  5. Enter the users or user groups you want to give permissions to.

  6. From the permissions list, select from the following options:

    • To allow user to view the dashboards and reports associated with the project and data sources, click View.

    • To allow users to edit the project, add data sources, and crawl the data from the project, click Edit.

  7. Click Add.

  8. Click Save.
