Before using file monitoring, add an array with user credentials that include the VSAdmin role and the ONTAPi/SSH application.
Add the Credentials on the NetApp Filer

If you do not have a user with the VSAdmin role and the ONTAPi/SSH application, go to the NetApp c-mode filer, and then add the credentials to the user:

To add ONTAPi, run the following command:
filer_host_name::> security login create -vserver vserver_name -user-or-group-name user_name -application ontapi -authmethod password

At the prompt, enter the user password.

To add SSH, run the following command:
filer_host_name::> security login create -vserver vserver_name -user-or-group-name user_name -application ssh -authmethod password

Add the Array in the Command Center

Add an array using the following information:

The Vserver name or the IP address that you used to configure the NAS server. This is the NAS server that you are using as the file storage optimization data source.
Important
The Vserver name or the IP address must be DNS resolvable.

User credentials that include the VSAdmin role and the ONTAPi/SSH application.
