To verify that the MongoDB cluster is set up correctly, perform a test backup and restore.
Back Up the Cluster

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Big data.
The Big data page appears.

In the row for the cluster, click the action button , and then click Back up.
The Select backup level dialog box appears.

Click OK.
Prepare the Cluster for the Restore

If you scheduled oplog dump backups, disable them.

Stop all mongos or mongod processes.

Clear the data directory paths on all the nodes.
Restore the Cluster

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Big data.
The Big data page appears.

In the row for the cluster, click the action button , and then click Restore.
The Backup content page appears.

Select the content for the restore.

Click Restore.
The Restore options dialog box appears.

From the Restore mode type list, select In place, click Restore.
A confirmation message appears.

Click Yes.
