Adding Additional Mount Paths to a Commvault Cloud Network Storage Pool

You can add additional mount paths to a Metallic a Cloud Network Storage Pool.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, expand to Storage Resources > Storage Pools.

2. Right-click the <Metallic Cloud Network StoragePool>, and then click Add > Add Storage.

3. In the Add Mount Path dialog box, enter the following information:

   1. In the Name box, specify name of the mount path.

   2. From the MediaAgent list, select the MediaAgent that must be used to access the mount path.

      Note

      The list displays both active MediaAgents (MediaAgents with license) and inactive MediaAgents (MediaAgents with MediaAgent package installed, but license not consumed). If you select an inactive MediaAgent, the license is auto-consumed.

   3. From the Location list, select the cloud storage location.

      Recommended: Choose a location nearest to the MediaAgent.

4. Click OK.

Result

After adding the storage, the mount path is added under the library node and MediaAgent that is used during the storage creation is automatically shared with all the other MediaAgents.
