Create a Catalyst Store that can be used as a storage library in Commvault software using the StoreOnce Management Console.
Before You Begin
The following software versions in HPE StoreOnce appliances are supported:

For 3rd generation:
-
HPE StoreOnce Appliance, the supported minimum version is 3.18.5.

For Cloud Bank storage, the supported minimum version is 3.18.7.

For 4th generation:
-
HPE StoreOnce Appliance, the supported minimum version is 4.1.0.
-
For Cloud Bank storage, the supported minimum version is 4.1.1.
-
HPE Cloud Volumes Backup Service is also supported, with or without one of the above StoreOnce Appliance generations. (The service does not have version numbers.)
Procedure

Login to the StoreOnce Management Console.

Depending on the StoreOnce version, perform one of the following:

For version 3.x systems, expand the tree displayed in the Navigator pane, and then navigate to StoreOnce Catalyst > Stores.

For version 4.x systems, expand the tree displayed in the Navigator pane, and then navigate to Data Services > Catalyst Stores.

Click the Create button displayed in the Stores area displayed on the top-right pane.
The New Store dialog box will displayed on the bottom-right pane.

Add the Name and other information needed to create the store and then click the Create button.
Using the default store settings is recommended.
Tip
Note down the Name provided for the Store. This is needed to configure the store as a storage library in Commvault software.
The newly created store will be listed in the Stores pane.
Note
HPEStoreonce library requires MediaAgent to have a cloud storage license.
