Displaying SVM Names

If you want to display the storage virtual machine (SVM) name, instead of the IP address, then run the following command.

Before You Begin

You need a replica copy. If you haven't created a replica copy, see Creating a Vault/Replica or Mirror Copy for the NetApp Open Replication Feature.

Procedure

• On the CommServe computer, run the following command.

  SnapManagementTool.exe setvServerConfig -vm Instance001

  On the Commvault software, on the Configuration tab of the replica copy, you can now see SVM names instead of IP addresses.
