Sending Log Files for a Job

You can upload, save, or email the log files for jobs based on the job ID.

When you trigger "send log files" request by job ID, the Send Logs bundle name will be saved in the following format: sendlogfiles_XXXXX_JYYYY.7z

Where JYYYY is the job ID that you want to filter.

For example, suppose that you want to trigger a "send log files" request for a job with ID 37722. In this case, the log file is saved as sendLogFiles_FFFFF_2021_01_12_13_35_49_37742_J37722.7z.

SAP for Oracle jobs and clients include the SAPARCH directory content and the SAPBACKUP directory content in addition to the logs.

You can configure the send log files operation to include the output package of the cvsnapcore utility. The cvsnapcore utility collects the executable file and shared libraries from a core dump file. For more information, see FAQ - Collect the executable file and shared libraries from a core dump file.

You can use the enableLogLinePrediction additional setting to identify and include the log that does not have a job ID and which have a same process ID as in the preceding log. For sending logs with log line only, 9 archive files are scanned by default.
