Setting Up Pre/Post Scripts For Failovers

Pre/Post scripts can be setup to run automatically before and after a failover.

Procedure

• To the SQL Client instance, add the additional settings shown in the following table.

  For instructions about adding an additional setting from the CommCell Console, see Adding an Additional Setting from the CommCell Console.

  Additional Setting	Category	Type	Value
  nPreFailoverScript	CVD	Multi String	Enter the full path and name of the script that must be executed pre-failover. While adding multiple scripts make sure to add each entry in a new line.
  nPostFailoverScript	CVD	Multi String	Enter the full path and name of the script that must be executed post-failover. While adding multiple scripts make sure to add each entry in a new line.
