The control file contains the latest backup information, which is required to perform restores.
You must synchronize the recovery catalog with the control file.
Best Practice: Set this feature on the default subclient.
Procedure

From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers > client > Oracle > instance.

Right-click the subclient and then click Properties.

On the Advanced tab of the Subclient Properties dialog box, click the Options tab and select the Resync Recovery Catalog check box.

Click OK to close the Subclient Properties dialog box.
