System Requirements for the NetApp E-Series/LSI Storage Array

Before you configure your storage array, verify that your environment meets the following requirements.

Licenses

Install the following licenses.

Caution

The VolumeCopy engine does not work the SMI-S provider with firmware versions 11.40, 11.42, and 11.52. If you use the VolumeCopy engine with the SMI-S provider 11.40, 11.42, or 11.52, creating the volume copy relationship fails and it might also bring the SMI-S provider services down.
