General Requirements and Support

  • The CommServe computer must not be configured as the proxy computer.

  • You must enable the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) on the source computer so that you can access the restored virtual machine.

  • Configure block-level backups for the client computer. For more information, see Configuring a Subclient for Block-Level Backups for the Windows File System Agent.

  • Microsoft Azure Stack does not support Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) firmware, so Virtualize Me of source machines in UEFI firmware mode is not supported.

  • On Azure, only Azure Resource Manager deployments are supported.

  • iSCSI volumes are not supported for restores.

DISCLAIMER

Certain third-party software and service releases (together, "Releases") may not be supported by Commvault. You are solely responsible for ensuring Commvault’s products and services are compatible with any such Releases.
