Tunneling the vServer through a Cluster Client

To enable IntelliSnap backup of a storage virtual machine (SVM) CIFS path through a containing cluster, you must tunnel the vServer through the cluster client. If the vServer is not tunneled through the cluster client, then the backup operation will fail.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, click the Storage tab, and then click the Array Management icon.

   The Array Management dialog box appears.

2. Select a NetApp array, and then click Edit.

   The Array Properties dialog box appears.

3. On the Snap Configuration tab, select Use Tunneling.

4. Click OK.
