You can remove the mount point on the host computer where the snapshot is mounted and remove the mapped hardware snapshot from the host computer. Unmount operations are needed once the job is done with the mounted snapshot.
Caution
- If you did not select the Protect Snapshot during mount option to mount the snapshot, then the changes made to the snapshot when it is mounted are retained after the snapshot is unmounted and the snapshot can no longer be used for restore.
Procedure

From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers >client> agent.

Right-click the appropriate backupset, subclient, or instance, and then click List Snapshots.

Right-click the snapshot, and then click Unmount.
Tip
To select multiple snapshots, hold <Shift> key and select the snapshots to be mounted. In the Mount or UnMount dialog box, click Yes.

Optional: If the snapshot does not get unmounted, select the Force Unmount option to mark the snapshot as unmounted.

Click OK.
