Viewing Account Activity on the Web Console

Updated

You can view your active logon sessions and previous logon sessions to the Web Console and obtain the following information about each logon session:

  • Console type. For example, the Web Console

  • Geographical location, host name, or IP address of the device used to access the Web Console

  • date and time the user logged on to the Web Console

  • amount of time the user has been inactive on a current active session

  • date and time the user logged out of the session

CommCell administrators can also monitor their logon sessions to other CommCell access platforms, such as the CommCell Console, using the Web Console.

When you have active logon sessions on multiple devices, you can log out the active sessions on other devices using the Web Console from the current active device.

About This Task

By default, the Web Console displays the geographical location of the device that was used to access the Web Console or other CommCell platforms. If the location is not traceable, the Web Console displays the IP address or host name of the device.

Sometimes, due to no internet connectivity or a location tracking error, the Web Server fails to track the geographical location of the device. In such cases, contact your CommCell administrator to disable the location tracking capability of the Web Server.

Procedure

  1. From the Web Console home page, click the user name arrow in the upper-right corner, and then select Preferences.

  2. On the Account Activity tab, view the logon session details for Active Devices and Login History.

  3. To close an active session on another device, hover over the row for the corresponding session, and then click the close icon.

To close the active sessions on all other devices, click Logout all other sessions.

    Note

You cannot close an active CommCell Console session from the Web Console.
