Adding an Access Node for Microsoft Azure Database for PostgreSQL

Add an access node for Microsoft Azure Database for PostgreSQL.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Servers.

   The Servers page appears.

2. Click Add server.

   The Add server dialog box appears.

3. Select one of the following installation methods:

   • To install software on the computer, click Install software packages on your computer, and then enter the following information:

     1. In the Host name box, type the host name.

     2. Next to OS Type, select the operating system that is installed on the server.

     3. In the User name and Password boxes, type the credentials for the server.

     4. From the Select package(s) list, select PostgreSQL and Virtual Server to install on the server, and then click OK.

     5. To enter the installation location, in the Installation location box, enter the path.

     6. To install the file system package as a restore only agent, move the Restore only agent toggle key to the right.

     7. To reboot the servers in the server group after the installation, move the Reboot if required toggle key to the right.

   • To complete an installation when the software is already installed on the server, click Complete the installation if software packages are already installed on your computer, and then enter the following information:

     1. In the Host name box, enter the host name.

     2. In the Server name box, enter the name of the server.

4. Click Install.
