Adding a DB2 HADR Database Instance

You can add a DB2 HADR database instance.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.

   The Database Overview tab appears.

2. From the Add Instance list, select Database server.

   The Configure Database Instance dialog box appears.

3. Select DB2 HADR and click Next.

   The Add DB2 HADR instance dialog box appears.

4. From the Server name drop-down list, select a database cluster server client or add a new cluster server client.

5. In the Instance name box, enter the DB2 instance name.

6. From the Plan drop-down list, select a server plan.

7. In the DB2 Home box, enter the DB2 database home path.

8. Under the DB2 user account section, from the Credential drop-down list, select a DB2 user credential.

9. Click Add.

Result

The DB2 HADR Database instance is added to the instances list.
