You can add a Sybase HADR database instance.
Before You Begin

Verify that the Sybase run_server file is located at the default location sybaseHome/ASE/install on both primary and secondary nodes.

Add a server on all the HADR nodes.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.
The Overview tab appears.

On the Instances tab, click Add instance, and then select Database server.
The Configure Database Instance page appears.

Select Sybase HADR, and then click Next.
The Add Instance page appears.

In the Plan section, select an existing plan or Add a new backup plan.

Click Next.
The Instance Name page appears.

In the Instance name box, type a name for the instance, and then click Next.
The Add Nodes page appears.

Click Add to add nodes of the Sybase HADR system.
The Add Sybase HADR node page appears.

From the Server name list, select a server.

Under Connection details, enter the following details:

OS user name: Enter the Sybase OS user name.

OS user password: Enter the Sybase OS password.

Under Sybase options, enter the following details:

ASE data server name: Enter the ASE data server name.

SA user name: Enter the credentials for a user account that has sa_role and sso_role.

Password: Enter the SA password.

Click Save.

To back up encryption keys, move the Backup database encryption keys toggle to right, and then enter the password for the master key. To encrypt database in HADR environment, see Encrypting Databases in an HADR Environment

Click Next.
The Summary page appears.

Review the summary, and then click Submit.
