Adding a vStore

To manage a vStore, you must add it in Commvault software.

Before You Begin

You must have a physical array in the Arrays page. See Configuring a vStore on the Commvault Software.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, click Manage > Infrastructure.

   The Infrastructure page appears.

2. Click Arrays.

3. On the Arrays page, click Add.

   The General page of the Add Snap Array configuration wizard appears.

4. From the Snap vendor list, select Huawei.

5. In the Array name box, enter the vStore name.

6. In the Control host box, enter the management IP address of the vStore.

7. In the Description box, enter the description for the array.

8. For credentials, do one of the following:

   Note

   • Type the credentials of a user who is assigned to vStore administrator role.

   • Both the username and the password are case sensitive.

   • To use the saved credentials, move the Use saved credentials toggle key to the right, and then select credentials from the Saved credentials list.

   • To add new credentials, enter the credentials in User name and Password boxes.

9. Click Next.

10. Click NEXT again.

11. Click SUBMIT.
