You can perform a full, incremental, or a synthetic full backup of the Azure NetApp Files.

The default subclient backs up all the interfaces and associated volumes of Azure NetApp Files within an Azure subscription.

To backup specific contents, add a user-defined subclient.
Procedure

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Files.

Go to the Files tab, and then click the Azure NetApp Files file server.

To back up CIFS share, go to the Protocols tile, and then click CIFS.
To back up NFS exports, go to the Protocols tile, and then click NFS.

On the Subclients tab, click Backup.

From Backup options, select the backup type.
The selected backup type determines how the backup runs. For more information, see File Server Backups.

Click Submit.
