Backing Up a Cassandra Cluster on Demand

You can back up a Cassandra cluster, both data and commit logs, on demand.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Big data.

   The Big data page appears.

2. In the row for the cluster, click the action button , and then click Back up.

   The Select backup level dialog box appears.

3. For Backup level, select the backup type.

   To back up logs along with the data, select both the Log and Data check boxes.

4. Click OK.
