Backing Up an Epic EHR Systems Server

You can back up the Epic EHR Systems server on demand.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Applications > Epic EHR Systems.

   The Epic EHR Systems page appears.

2. Click the file server.

   The file server page appears.

3. Under Subclients, row for the subclient, click the action button , and then click Back up.

   The Select backup level dialog box appears.

4. For Backup level, select the backup type.

   • Full: Click to perform full instance backups.

     Note

     You can perform only full backups of journals.

   • Incremental: Click to perform incremental instance backups.

5. Click OK.
