Backing Up NAS File Server Data

You can back up NAS file server data with a full, incremental, or differential backup.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Files.

   The file servers Overview page appears.

2. On the Files tab, in the row for the NAS file server that you want to back up, click the action button , and then select Back up.

   The Backup dialog box appears.

3. Under Backup options, select the type of backup to perform.

   The selected backup type determines how the backup runs. For more information, see File Server Backups.

4. Select the subclient(s).

5. Optional: To receive an email message when the backup operation is complete, select the When the job completes, notify me via email check box.

6. Click Submit.
