To be ready for a cyber event, you must have a plan and regularly test the plan to ensure recovery readiness and to improve your cyber resilience. Part of the plan includes how to recover your backup environment in the event of a disaster. The CommServe Recovery Validation service is part of the Cleanroom feature, which provides air-gapped backups of the Commvault control plane (CommServe server database) with the ability to perform cleanroom recovery of the control plane to test recoveries of your data in an isolated segmented environment. This streamlines and simplifies recovery testing and validation without impacting production operations.
