Configure Access Nodes as HDFS Clients

Configure all the nodes that you want to use as access nodes as HDFS clients on the Hadoop cluster, so that the nodes can access the HDFS file sytem.

Procedure

Configure the nodes as HDFS clients on the Hadoop cluster.
Verify that the Hadoop bin path in the environment is set correctly for the root user.
Verify that you can run the following command as the root user without any errors:
```
hdfs dfs –ls /
 hadoop classpath --glob
```
