You can execute any application directly from the Command Center. For example, enter mstsc as the executable name to configure a Remote Desktop connection option to be accessed by any client in the CommCell environment (at the CommServe, MediaAgent or client level).
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Manage > System.
The System page aapears.

Click Quick access tools tile.

Click Add tool.
The Add Quick Access Tool dialog box appears.

Under General, in the Name box, type the name of the tool.

From the Tool type list, select Executable.

From the OS type list, select the operating system of the clients where you want the tool to appear.

In the Executable name box, type or browse and select the executable file name.
For example, to configure a Remote Desktop connection as a tool, type mstsc.

In the Startup path box, enter the system path where the executable application is situated.
Note
When you select UNIX operating system, then the startup path box will not be visible.

In the Parameters box, enter the parameter to run the executable application.
You can use permanent parameters like strings or integers, as well as variables, which must be formatted as
$variable_name$. You can input the values for these variables when using the quick access tool. Tokens such as$%CLIENT_INSTALL_DIR%$,$%CLIENT_NET_HOSTNAME%$, or$%CLIENT_NAME%$can be utilized to automatically retrieve information like the hostname, client name, or installation directory. -
From the Run tool on list, select the computer where you want to execute the tool.

To display the output after executing the tool, move Show output toggle key to the right.

Click Next.

Under Associations, from the Associate tool to list, select CommServe entity (client, CommCell or MediaAgent) to be associated with the tool.

In the Impersonate user box, specify the user whom you want to impersonate and provide username and password for accessing the client.
The specified user will no longer need to enter the credentials to run the tool.

If you want the users to provide credentials when accessing the server during tool execution, move the Ask for credentials toggle key to the right.
Note
If you are not impersonating the user and Ask for credentials toggle is disabled, then the user do not need to provide the credentials while running the tool, as long as the executable path is a sub path of the base folder.

Click Next.

Under Visibility, select one of the following:

Private: Only the user who creates the tool can access it.

Public: You can choose the user or user group who can access the tool.

Click Submit.
