From the AWS Marketplace, you can deploy Commvault Cloud - Foundational Protection BYOL, which is an Amazon EC2 instance that includes Commvault software and Windows Server software.
Considerations

Commvault Cloud - Foundational Protection BYOL requires the following AWS billable services to be deployed by the CloudFormation template: AWS CloudFormation, Amazon EC2, Amazon EBS, Amazon S3, AWS KMS, Amazon SNS, Amazon CloudWatch. The following AWS services are also deployed at no charge: Amazon IAM, AWS SSM.

When you launch the AWS instance, you must provide a key pair. You can use an existing key pair or create a new key pair as part of the deployment.
Procedure

In the Amazon EC2 console, go to Instances, and then click Launch instances.
A wizard appears to guide you through the deployment.

Under Application and OS Images, search for "Commvault".

Select Commvault Cloud - Foundational Protection BYOL.

Select an instance type.

Identify a network and subnet that are available for the deployment.

If necessary, add additional storage.
By default, the AMI provides 200 GB of storage.

When you launch the instance, you must provide a key pair.
You can use an existing key pair or create a new key pair as part of the deployment.

Log on to the new instance.
A PowerShell script automatically runs to configure the CommServe software. When the configuration is complete, the Commvault Command Center automatically opens and presents the Create new account dialog box.

Enter the email address for the CommServe administrator and a password for the account.

After the account is created, you can log on to the Command Center.
