Enable immutable snapshots on primary snapshot copies to prevent the accidental or intentional snapshot modification or deletion until a set retention time. Once you enable Immutable snapshot, you cannot disable it. This is an irreversible action.
Note
-
Creating an immutable snapshot with the primary snapshot and vault/replica copies will prevent the creation of normal snapshots with the same copy. Immutability will be applied to the current and future-dependent snapshot copies.
-
Enabling immutable snapshot automatically enables compliance lock on the primary snapshot. Both immutability and compliance lock will be enabled on the dependent vault/replica copies.
