Getting Started with Amazon RDS for Oracle

To get started with backing up Amazon RDS for Oracle, configure the necessary entities, and then perform a test backup and restore.

Procedure

1. Make sure that your environment meets the system requirements.

2. Review the prerequisites before configuring the entities.

3. Add the following entities:

   • Add an access node.

   • Add an instance.

4. Optional: Define the Java Home additional setting.

5. Perform a Test Backup and Restore.

   • Back up a database

   • Restore one or more databases
