Getting Started with SAP HANA

Verify that your environment meets the system requirements, complete the database guided setup, add the SAP HANA instance, and then perform a test backup and restore.

You must set the Commvault install group to sapsys.

Procedure

1. Verify that your environment meets the system requirements for SAP HANA.

2. Complete the databases guided setup for SAP HANA.

   The guided setup guides you through creating a backup plan and adding a SAP HANA database server.

3. Add a SAP HANA instance.

4. Optional: Enable snapshot backups.

5. Perform a test backup and restore.
