Granular Restores for MongoDB

You can perform granular restores of MongoDB collections and databases to the same cluster or a different cluster. Granular restores use a 3DFS share on the MediaAgent in the destination cluster to stage instances.

Granular restores are not supported in Windows MongoDB cluster configurations that use a Windows MediaAgent.

By default, the Commvault software collects oplog dumps every 15 minutes. Increase in size of oplog dumps might affect the performance of MongoDB collection-based restores.
