Perform a Test Backup and Restore of the MEDITECH File Server

To verify that MEDITECH is set up correctly, perform a test backup and restore.

Back Up the FileServer

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > File servers.

   The File servers page appears.

2. Click the file server.

   The file server page appears.

3. Under Subclients, in the row for the subclient, click the action button , and then click Back up.

   The Select backup level dialog box appears.

4. Click OK.

Restore the Data From the File Server

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > File servers.

   The File servers page appears.

2. Click the file server.

   The file server page appears.

3. Under Subclients, in the row for the subclient, click the action button , and then click Restore.

   The Backup Content page appears.

4. Select the check box for the backup, and then click Restore.

   The Restore options dialog box appears.

5. Click Submit.
