REST API - GET User Additional Settings

This operation returns a list of additional settings at the user level.

Request

GET webservice/User/userId/preferences/prefType?includeAdditionalSettings=true HTTP/1.1

Authtoken: authentication token

where <webservice> is the root path used to route the API requests to the Web Server.

The user ID for the user. If the user ID is not known, use the GET User API to retrieve it.

The console for which the additional settings were created.

Valid values:

  • all

  • webconsolePrefs

The format of the response. Valid values are: application/xml or application/json.

The authentication token received after successfully logging on. For details on receiving an authentication token, see Authentication.

  • 1, for Boolean

  • 2, for string

  • 3, for encrypted

  • 4, for multiple strings
