Restoring GlusterFS Data to Its Current Location (In Place)
You can restore GlusterFS data to its current location (in place).
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Files.
The Overview page appears.

On the Files tab, click the file server.
The file server properties page appears.

On the Subclients tab, in the Action column for the subclient you backed up, click the action button
, and then click Restore.The Backup Content page appears.

Select the content that you want to restore, and then click Restore.
The Restore dialog box appears.

Click Submit.
Restoring Data to a Different Location or to a Different Server (Out of Place)
You can restore GlusterFS data to a different location on the same cluster, or to a different cluster (out of place).
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Files.
The Overview page appears.

On the Files tab, click the file server.
The file server page appears.

On the Subclients tab, in the Action column for the subclient you backed up, click the action button
, and then click Restore.The Backup Content page appears.

Select the content that you want to restore, and then click Restore.

To restore to a different server, from the Destination list, choose the destination server for the restore.

To restore only the ACLs, select the ACLs check box.

To restore only the data, select the Data check box.

Clear the Restore to original folder check box, and then in the Destination Path box, type the full path to the destination folder.

To overwrite the existing data, select the Unconditionally overwrite if it already exists check box.

Optional: If the destination client does not have access to the UNC path provided in the Destination Path box, then enable the Impersonate user slider, and then enter the user name and password required to access the UNC path.

Click Submit.
