No security fixes are included in this release.
Bug Fixes
- Policy engine: Table matcher would produce a qualified table name, this was changed to non-qualified (aligned with other location matchers)
- Classification: in the case of a column name containing a decimal point (e.g
abc.def) the location would not get identified correctly resulting in a mis-classification
Features and Enhancements
- Policy engine: Introduced a new policy attribute (
apply_and_continue) which allowed continued rule iteration in case a non terminating rule (e.g.Allow,Block) is hit, for more info please see the Commvault documentation portal - Policy engine: A rule which does not contain any tags will always match, this new functionality is useful for default policy level action
