You can view subscription usage for AI and Analytics workloads in the AI and Analytics Applications Usage Report.
The report displays the peak front-end size for AI and Analytics data protected. The front-end size is the source data capacity before compression and deduplication.
- If AI and Analytics workload data was protected for one or more days in the month, the data is counted as part of the peak front-end size for that month. The data is counted even if it is removed from a backup schedule or if backup data was deleted from the system. If the AI and Analytics workload data is not backed up in the following months, it is not counted as part of AI & Analytics subscription usage for those months.
Example: If AI01 and AI02 (each with 1 GB capacity) are protected on the first day of the month, and AI01 is removed from the system later that month, the peak front-end size protected in the month is 2 GB. If AI01 is not backed up in the following month and AI02 is backed up, the peak front-end size protected in the month is 1 GB.
Note
A client is included in usage calculations if it remains configured or if any of its subclients have backup activity enabled during any part of the month.
