Supported AWS Authentication Methods

Commvault supports the following authentication methods for protecting AWS resources:

• Temporary credentials via AWS Security Token Service (AWS STS) and AssumeRole

• Temporary credentials via IAM Roles for Amazon EC2 (or IAM instance profiles)

• (Not recommended) Long-lived credentials via IAM access key and secret key
