Note
- Deduplication and micro-pruning are supported for all Amazon S3-compatible object storage libraries. For more information, see Supported Cloud Storage Products.
- For S3-compatible storage and cloud object storage, including NetApp ONTAP S3, Commvault does not display Capacity, Free Space, or Usable Free Space. This is a limitation of the S3 API specification, which does not provide APIs to retrieve total or available storage capacity. As a result, Commvault cannot query or report these metrics.

Note
To set the default region while adding the Hitachi VSP One Object Storage library, you must add the sCloudDefaultRegion additional setting to the MediaAgent as follows:
- Setting: sCloudDefaultRegion
- Category: MediaAgent
- Created On: Client
- Type: String
Set the value to the region being used. For example, us-west-2. This setting applies at the MediaAgent level. To support multiple regions, you will need at least one MediaAgent per region, each configured for the region it serves.
