System Requirements for the INFINIDAT Storage Array

Before you configure your storage array, verify that your environment meets the following requirements.

Licenses

Install the following licenses.

Snapshot Type	License
Snapshot	Snapshot

Use the following versions and firmware.

Array	Version and Firmware
INFINIDAT	7.3.x 7.1.x 7.0.x 6.0.x 5.5.x 5.0.x 4.0.x

Use one of the following protocols.

Array	Protocol
INFINIDAT	iSCSI Fibre Channel NFS (firmware versions 5.x and 4.x are not supported)

Install the following software.

Array	Required Software
INFINIDAT	None

Open port 443 (HTTPS) between the CommServe computer or MediaAgent and the INFINIDAT server.
