Viewing the Index Backup Retention Report on the Command Center

Administrators and tenant administrators can view the Index Backup Retention report on the Command Center.

Before You Begin

  • This report does not appear by default in the Command Center. From the Command Center, download and install the Index Backup Retention report from the Commvault Store. For more information, see Downloading a Report from the Commvault Store.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, click Reports.

    The Reports page appears.

  2. Under Jobs, click Index Backup Retention.

    The Index Backup Retention report appears.

  3. In the Client list, select the clients that are being protected.

  4. Optional: To further refine results, do the following:

    • In the Backupset list, select the backup sets that are being protected.

    • In the Subclient list, select the subclients that are being protected.

    • In the Storage Policy list, select the storage policies that are being used for the backup.

    • In the Storage Policy Copy list, select the copies of the storage policy that are being used for the backup.

    • In the Enter Index Backup Job field, enter an index backup job.

  5. Click Apply.

    The data is displayed according to the options you selected.
