Adding Additional Storage to the Storage Pool

Use the following section to add additional storage to a network Storage Pool. After the storage is added, MediaAgent that is used during the storage creation is automatically shared across all the mount paths available in the library using DataServer-IP.

Procedure

1. From the navigation, click Storage Pools.

   The Storage Pool page appears.

2. On the Storage Pools page, click the Network Storage Pool name to which you want to add the storage.

3. On the Storage Pool window, click Add Storage.

4. On the Add Path dialog box, select the MediaAgent from the list.

5. Click Browse, and on the Select a Path dialog box, choose a path and click Save.

Result

A new mount path is added and the MediaAgent that is used during the storage creation is automatically shared across all the mount paths available in the library.
