Configuring a Content Analyzer Cloud for Data Cube Entity Extraction

Entity extraction is a feature that can identify when data contains sensitive information, such as credit card numbers and bank routing information. To identify files that contain sensitive information, you can configure entity extraction to work with supported Data Cube data connectors.

Before You Begin

Procedure

  1. From the CommCell Browser, right-click Client Computers, point to New Client > Others, and then click Content Analyzer Cloud.

    The Content Analyzer Cloud dialog box appears.

  2. In the General tab, perform the following steps:

    1. In Cloud Name, enter a name for the Content Analyzer cloud.

    2. From the Index Server list, select an index server to associate with the Content Analyzer cloud.

  3. On the Nodes tab, click Add.

    The Select Cloud Nodes dialog box appears.

  4. From the Exclude list, select a Content Analyzer client and then click Include.

    The Content Analyzer client appears in the Include list.

  5. Click OK.

  6. Optional: You can configure the Content Analyzer settings on the client as follows:

    1. From the Nodes list, click the Content Analyzer client and then click Edit.

      The Cloud Node Configuration dialog box appears.

    2. In Directory, click Browse or type the path to specify the directory on the client where you want to stage files for entity extraction.

    3. From Java Max Memory (MB), select a value for the maximum amount of system memory that the Content Analyzer service can use.

    4. To change the default port number, select a new value from Port.

    5. Click OK.

  7. In the Content Analyzer Cloud dialog box, click OK.

    The new Content Analyzer cloud appears in the CommCell Browser under Compute Servers > Content Analyzer Cloud > Content_Analyzer_cloud_name.
