You can configure a database group to run backup operations from a standby server.
Before You Begin
To configure a database group to use a standby server, you must first configure the instance that contains the database group to use a standby server.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Solutions > Databases > DB Instances.
The Instances page appears.

Click an instance.
The instance page appears.

In the Database groups section, click the database group for which you want to enable running backup operations from a standby server.
The database group page appears.

On the Overview tab, select the Enable standby backup check box.
