You can deactivate a specific instance of the database, by deconfiguring the instance from the Command Center.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to the database instance as follows:

For a SQL database:

Go to Administration > Servers > server.

In the Agents section, click SQL Server.

In the Instances section, click the instance.

For all other databases, go to Solutions > Databases > DB Instances > instance.
The instance details page appears.

At the upper-right area of the page, click the action button , and then click Deconfigure.
The Confirm deconfiguration dialog box appears.

Click Yes.
