Enabling Job Throttling for Clients

Job throttling must be enabled at the CommServe level before it can be enabled for clients. After job throttling is enabled at the CommServe level, it can be enabled for individual clients.

Procedure

CommServe Level

1. From the CommCell Console ribbon, on the Home tab, click Control Panel.

   The Control Panel dialog box is displayed.

2. In the Data section, click Job Management.

   The Job Management dialog box is displayed.

3. On the General tab, select the Enable Job Throttle at Client Level check box.

4. Click OK.

Client Level

1. Enable throttling at the CommServe level.

2. From the CommCell Browser, go to Client Computers.

3. Right-click the client, and then click Properties.

   The Client Computer Properties dialog box appears.

4. Click Advanced.

   The Advanced Client Properties dialog box appears.

5. On the Job Configuration tab, click the Enable Job Throttle check box.
