Invite for Commvault Edge Workflow

The Invite for Commvault Edge workflow is a predefined workflow that enables you send email invitations to share users when you share data. You can edit this workflow to customize the sender's email address and email content.

This workflow is automatically triggered only when the email address that you share with is not available in the CommServe database.

Customizing the Email Content

You can update the sender email address and the email contents using the following steps:

  1. From the CommCell Browser, go to Workflows.

  2. Right-click the Invite for Commvault Edge workflow and then click All Tasks > Edit.

  3. Right-click the Send New Account Email activity, and then click Properties.

    1. In Inputs tab, enter the From, CC, and BCC email addresses that you want to add. You can also edit the Welcome message in the email content as required.

    2. Click OK.

  4. Click Save from the toolbar, and then click Yes to deploy the workflow.

  5. From the Workflow Engine list, select the engine to deploy the workflow, and then click OK.
