Modifying the Oracle RAC Database Instance Details

You can modify the details of an Oracle RAC database instance.

Procedure

1. From the navigation page, click Solutions > Databases > DB Instances > instance.

   The instance details page appears.

2. Under General, click Edit.

   The Modify instance details dialog box appears.

3. In the Database name box, type the name of the Oracle RAC database instance.

4. From the Plan list, select the server plan to use for the instance.

5. To use the Oracle catalog connect string, select the User catalog connect check box, and then enter the Oracle catalog connect string.

6. To add an RAC database instance, click Add RAC instance.

   The Add RAC instance dialog box appears.

7. Click OK.

   The new RAC instance appears under the RAC database instances list.

8. Click Save.
