You can add items as downloads to a Compliance Search export set. When you select a format for the download, the data is converted and is available for download from the export set.
Before You Begin
Review the details about the format types available with the export feature. Some format types can only be used with specific types of data.
Procedure

In Compliance Search, perform a search.

Click the check box next to the items that you want to add to the export set.

Above the search bar, click Export To.

Select the export format from the list:

PST: Select this option if you want to export emails.

CAB: Select this option if you want to export files, emails, or a combination of both.

NSF: Select this option if you want to export Lotus Notes data.

HTML: Select this option if you want to export export files, emails, or a combination of both.

In the Export To dialog box:

Type a name in the Download Name box.

From the Export Set list, click an Export Set or create a new Export Set.

In the Selection Range, click:

Selected - To add the selected files/emails in the current page to the export set.

This Page - To add all the files/emails in the current page to the export set.
-
All - To add all the files/emails in the search result to the export set.

Click OK.
The restore job starts and the items are zipped and restored in the export set.
