To protect the NDMP data, you must associate a plan with the NDMP subclient. The plan defines the storage for the backup data, the RPO (recovery point objective), and the data retention period.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > File Servers.
The File servers page appears.

In the Actions column for the NAS client, click the action button
, and then click Edit plan association.The Edit plan dialog box appears.

From the Plan list, select the server plan.

Click Save.
The plan is added to the NDMP subclients under the NAS client.
