Creating a Cloud Controller

To establish an access point between the cloud MediaAgent and the CommServe, you must create a virtual client to act as the Cloud Controller. The Cloud Controller performs power management operations like checking power status, turning on and turning off the MediaAgent.

Before You Begin

Review the requirements for cloud controller.

Procedure

1. Create a virtual client.

   For the VSA proxy of the client, use an on-premises computer or a cloud virtual machine with the Virtual Server Agent (VSA) solution. You can also use the CommServe with VSA solution as the VSA proxy.
